Welcome to DTU's Live AudioCast Active Traders' Seminar
Time: 2 hrs
Start: 12 Noon EST
End: 2pm EST

Learning Points:

1. Check that any stock entry is also confirmed by being in one of the strongest 2 sectors as its entry trigger is hit. Our goal is to have 80%+ of all trades we do are done in the currently strongest 1-2 moving sectors at the time of entry.

2. If a stock is Not in one of the currently two strongest-moving sectors, make sure that it has exceptionally strong volume or other high-percentage gap/breakout pattern at entry. Best to do gaps/breakouts in strongest sectors.

3. TA/Scanning: Make sure to use a sector "percent change from open" quotebox that shows the percent change as measured from the current day's open (not the default in many s/w chart programs, which is percent from prev days' close)

4. Use sector line charts to display multiple sectors simultaneously. Do Not overlay sectors on the same chart, it's too much to have 4-6 overlay lines on the same chart. Have the charts track only first half of the day, for those who trade the open (daytrading): http://www.DaytradingUniversity.com/monitor3.gif

5. Swingtrading Sector Scan: Combine 52-week high/low scans with 10-day Sector Charts for relative strength patterns.

TIPS for SEEING OUR CHARTS CLEARLY (IE 6+):

To See our Charts clearly, running IE 6+:
Be sure to go to Tools/Internet Options/Advanced
and scroll down to "Multimedia" and UNCHECK where it says "Enable Automatic Image Resizing"
Tthis is an unwanted new default IE 6 feature that resizes images to fit the current browser window size,
it makes our charts more difficult to see, so Uncheck it.
